After graduating in 1991 from Clemson University with his Bachelor of Science in business management, Robb Templeton worked as a Charter Pilot and flight instructor. Eventually, after three years he found his way into the compressed air industry in 1994. While starting out in technical sales Robb quickly showed his value to the industry and soon gained experience as an Application Engineer, Territory Manager, Sales Manager, AirINSITE Auditing Manager, and VP of Sales. With these promotions he also gained certifications including USDOE Certified AIRMaster Plus, Compressed Air Challenge, and Blueprints for Managers. In 2005, after having spent the first 11 years of his career with our competitors at Ingersoll-Rand, those of us at I&M Industrials were extremely pleased to welcome Robb to our team. In the years following he has continued to help us build our business of designing custom compressed air systems as well as sale, service and installation of all equipment. Over his years with I&M he has proved tremendous value to our company and will continue to be an asset long into the future.
In his spare time, Robb still enjoys indulging in his passion for flying. He has maintained his commercial pilot’s license in addition to being a certified flight instructor, but also loves flying RC planes. He has spent time as the President of the Experimental Aircraft Association and coordinator of their Young Eagles program which helps to introduce youth to the world of flight. Robb has also worked to uplift local children by coaching youth baseball. In other moments of personal time he may be found on the golf course enjoying the outdoors.
